Snap(shot) Judgements are posts that will appear with no real regularity. It’s primarily a way for us to get thoughts and photos up as soon as possible, especially when we have no plan to write a feature-length column on the subject. Here, Gary and friends do a lengthy tour of the food at Brooklyn Flea.
I love food. I love outdoor food stands. I love eating all kinds of foods all in one place. I love a good flea market. That last one might not make sense in the context of the other three, not unless you go to Brooklyn Flea, a hipster flea market in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene. There are some pretty neat kitschy things for sale here but on my first visit to their outdoor location in the track & field area of a public school, it was all about the food. Friends of the blog Cindy and Won were kind enough to provide a ride for me and to help me eat through a lot of what there is to offer here – much of it but not all because there’s just too much here for three people to eat through in one trip. You know what that means – more trips to the Brooklyn Flea!
