It was our first full day in the enchanting beach town of Cefalu, our first time ever being on the island of Sicily, and it happened to be Friday night. Inn Bufalito

Here, Kate kicks off a series of posts from her trip to Italy with a meal at Inn Bufalito in Sorrento.

The chef and owner Franco is obviously passionate about what he does. He personally greets each table, earnestly explaining Inn Bufalito’s concept. Perhaps his six years in the states gave him inspiration for this restaurant, which is at the same time very traditional Italian, and very modern. He uses no cream or butter in his cooking, as the ancient Italians from the Amalfi Coast would not have, and uses all regional ingredients.
